| Co-op week prizes to be won! |
As October comes to an end, it is a good time to take a moment and
reflect on our efforts in support of co-operatives.
This year saw a greater
element of enthusiasm and participation during Co-op week for GROWMARK employees in Ontario with
the recent merge of FS PARTNERS, GROWMARK Ontario region and UPI Energy FS staff all working together
under one roof.

Employees Andrea
Fernandes, Christine Morrison, and Mary Walton co-ordinated several entertaining activities including a “get to know
each other” fun-fact quiz for each participating employee, daily co-op
trivia along with a large raffle draw that raised more than $1800 for the Canadian Co-operative Development Foundation. During the week, Claude Gauthier, gave a breakfast presentation on the history and evolution
of GROWMARK, and Janice Johnson provided a lunch session on Co-ops 101.

Simultaneously, during
Co-op month in the United States, GROWMARK employees successfully raised more than $1100
for their local United Way organization through activities such as jean-days, homemade
biscuits and gravy sales for breakfast, snack cart sales, and a raffle with
prizes donated by local businesses and GROWMARK divisions.
